Despite a turbulent year in our core market, Tero Marine is still very much alive and kicking.

Entering 2017, we can look back at a turbulent year in some shipping segments. TM Master is the preferred solution in the OSV market, and as we all know, shipowners in this market have seen some rough sailing. Still, Tero Marine is entering 2017 with optimism because we managed to establish our footprint in other segments - passing 160 new TM Master installations in 2016, an achievement we are highly proud of.

The last orders coming in were for 8 container vessels from OSM Maritime Group. These vessels are owned by Vroon in Netherlands and confirms our breakthrough in the deep sea market. Other customers that should be mentioned from the last months: TSG Marine (UK), NPCC (Abu Dhabi), Ocean Ship Management (Singapore), PTSC (Vietnam), Baffin Fisheries (US), CBO (Brazil) and KOAS (Norway).

We are also continuing our strong cooperation with Karstensens Shipyard in Denmark (picture). Since 2011 we have delivered TM Master (and databases) on 11 newbuilds there, and a few months ago we got an order for 7 more vessels in the period 2016-2018.
