TM Docking

TM Docking has been developed to simplify and support every type of docking project. The module, which is fully integrated with the other applications in the TM Master V2 Program suite, covers all the central tasks involved in a dry dock operation from early planning to execution and reporting.

TM Docking is tailor made to support the work flow in this type of project.

Planning

Docking projects are often planned many years in advance of their execution.

TM Docking lets you define the initial project itself, either by creating a new project or basing it on an earlier docking. In the period leading up to the vessel arrival at the dockyard, you can add to and edit the jobs, and choose to lock the project to keep it safe from unauthorised use. Any type of job can be attached to the project, irrespective of whether it is a typical dock job or a routine maintenance job. Due to the full integration of the docking module with the PMS module in TM Master V2, jobs can be transferred with just a press of a button.

User Defined Detail Level

When the Job Lists are complete, TM Docking simplifies the task of canvassing offers. The module generates complete specifications and allows you to send these to chosen dockyards as a basis for RFQ. The dockyards can quote prices in their own currency, as the projects can have its own exchange rate. Once the offers have been returned, TM Docking organises and presents the competing offers for you, making the choosing process simpler. Compare estimated costs from the budget with quoted prices from the dockyards and calculated costs for the project.

The work plan can be updated and adjusted even while the docking operation is under way. A timeline displays the project graphically, showing the jobs, their due timeline and development in completion. Completed work and delays can be registered, consequently updating the overview picture. Unit prices and schedules for deliveries can be edited as and when needed, so that you always have an up to date overview.

Order Control

The planning and execution of a docking operation usually stretches over a long time. One of the biggest challenges is to keep an overview of all the items, equipment and services that have been ordered. TM Docking meets this challenge. The overview of all the orders, the status and the details are all easily available and give you the control and management that you need.

Reporting

TM Docking is supplied with a selection of pre-defined reports for follow-up of costs and jobs. These can be edited as required and tailored to your specific needs.
